  • Go Kids, Inc. 885 Moro Drive Gilroy, CA, 95020 United States (map)

Greetings! Today marks the conclusion of our informative series highlighting 10 crucial facts discovered through The Fatherhood Project's research. We hope you found this enlightening and appreciate your time spent learning about the significance of a father figure. Be sure to check in monthly as we continue sharing essential information. Thank you for your interest!

6.) When fathers are actively involved in parenting with a loving and clear approach, it creates positive outcomes for their children. This means better emotional, academic, social, and behavioral development for the little ones.

7.) Having involved fathers in a child's life significantly improves the child's sociability, confidence, and self-control. Children who have their fathers involved have a lower chance of exhibiting risky behaviors in adolescence or misbehaving in school.

8.) Did you know that fathers can be just as attached to their infants as mothers? Research shows that when both parents are involved with their child, infants form strong attachments with both parents right from the start. So, dads, don't hesitate to bond with your little ones!

9.) Research shows that fathers who actively engage in their daughters' lives can significantly reduce their risk of experiencing psychological problems and depression.

10.) Children who feel a closeness to their father are: twice as likely as those who do not to enter college or find stable employment after high school, 75% less likely to have a teen birth, 80% less likely to spend time in jail, and half as likely to experience multiple depression symptoms.
